Barbara Kaesbauer (Elliott)

Barbara M. (Kaesbauer) Elliott, 66, of Dubuque, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Barbara was born on January 20,1948, in Dubuque, daughter of Robert and Marilyn (Wolf) Kaesbauer.

She was a graduate of Wahlert High School and attended the University of Iowa.  Barbara was a waitress at Timmerman's Supper Club for many years.  She then drove a bus for the Dubuque Community School District and also worked in sales and marketing for Iowa Coaches, Tri-State Travel, Eagle Window and Door and most recently at Swiss Colony.

You could always count on Barbara to show up early and play cards at family gatherings, which she enjoyed immensely. She was an avid bowler and followed in her mother's footsteps by serving on the board of directors for the Dubuqueland Women's Bowling Association.  Barbara was passing on her family's love of bowling to her grandson Logan by taking him to junior bowling and motivating him with a little wager now and then on who would bowl the best score.  She also enjoyed following the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Surviving are her daughter, Julie (Todd) Isley, of Eldridge, IA and their children, Anthony and Alex Isely; her son, Wesley (Amanda) Renne, of Asbury, IA and their children, Ethan, Logan, Jillian and Jackson Renne; her siblings, Sue (Rick) White, of Peosta, IA, Bob (Pat) Kaesbauer, of Asbury, Tom (Cathy) Kaesbauer, of Dubuque, and Patty (Mike) Riniker, of Asbury; also surviving are nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws James and Barry Elliott
