
Curt J. Ginter, 61, of Kansas City, formerly of Dubuque, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 after a heroic 2½-year effort to overcome cancer.
He was born on July 13, 1948, in Dubuque, son of LaVern E. and Velma Jean (Bode) Ginter. He graduated from Wahlert High School in 1966, and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Curt was a sales representative in the Kansas City area for Terminal Supply Co.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Ginter; a daughter, Tracy (Larry) Burgess, of Kansas City; his mother, Velma Jean Ginter, of Dubuque; siblings, Chris (James) Vosberg, of Dubuque, Clark (Barbara) Ginter, of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, LaVern Ginter, and his brother, Cal Ginter.
