Terry L. Hanson, 33, of Rt. 2, Sherrill died Monday, March 1, 1982 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. Services were held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sherrill. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Terry was born in Dubuque, and worked at Flexsteel Industries. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church and a 1966 graduate of Wahlert High School. Surviving are his wife, the former Beverly Rhomberg; a daughter, Lee Ann; two sons, Michael and Marc, all at home; his parents, Robert "Cobb" and Shirley (Rogan) Hanson; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maize Rogan; a sister, Mrs. Tim (Susan) Welu, and two brothers, Robert L. "Shag" and Jeff Hanson, all of Dubuque.

Having worked at Flexsteel, I remember Terry well and how much his death at such a young age affected me. It made me realize even more how precious life is and how too many die too soon. Terry was a very active, vibrant young man and when he got sick, all of us at Flexsteel were shocked. Rest in peace, Terry, and may God's perpetual light shine upon you.
