Gary L. Robinson, 50, of Marion, IA, formerly of Dubuque, died after a long illness Friday, January 30, 1998 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA.  He was born December 12, 1947, in Dubuque, son of Elmer and Margaret (Charland) Robinson.

He graduated from Wahlert High School and attended Loras College for four years and the University of Iowa Law School for three years.  Gary was an attorney with Klinger, Robinson and Ford for 20 years and was a member of the Iowa Bar Association.  He was a wonderful son and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Surviving are his parents, Elmer and Margaret Robinson, of Dubuque; two sisters, Pamela (Stephen) Raymond, of Dubuque, and Mary (Richard) Kalloway, of Lancaster, WI; three nieces, Shawn, Trisha and Stephanie; a nephew, Daniel; four aunts and and one uncle; and Pamela Hupe of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
