I sat in front of Daryl in Mr. Clark's class. We had the best time cutting up and laughing all the time. I was greeted with a smile everytime i saw him. He will be greatly missed!!!!
Daryl was a really good friend and he often to this day comes to mind when I think of tragedies. We had a couple of classes together nut Mrs. McCabe's was where we had the best time. He ran the record player (which someitmes skipped) and I ran the slides the projector ( which also had a tendancy to be a little or alot ahead or behind).....lol.
I sat next to this kid on Graduation Day, and we were haveing the best time ,laughing and he would bump my elbow and call me Mrs. Robinson and I would say " syke". We had the best time . On our way to the podium to recieve our diploma, we toke a photograph and I think it was his mother or Arvon's mom who had taken the picture. We also shoke hands for the last time with the GREATEST band teacher SWHS has ever had, Micheal Lancaster. I will truely always cherish that time I spent with Daryl. He had told me something once we had gotten back to our seats and I told him "nope not me". But somehow he knew, and to this day I do not know how he knew that. All in all he was right, crazy, fun to be around. Loved by all who came in contact with him. When you saw Daryl you saw Arvon, his best friend, two cool guys.
