Marybeth died in July 1979 of cancer. She was married to Frank Buss who died Oct. 2003. They had three children, Suziebeth, Christopher, and Billy and one grandchild Emily Rurup. After graduating from St. Scholastica with a nursing degree, Marybeth worked at Css as a nursing instructor and then at St. Mary's Hospital where she supervised student nurses. She was active in her parish church in Superior. Her main focus in life was her children.
