52 of Charlotte died Monday at Carolinas Medical Center.
A Memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Calvary Church Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Detzler officiating.
Mrs. Hudalla was born January 7, 1947 in Kingston, NY to Helen G. Zimmer and the late Harlowe E. Lindseth. She had spent most of her life in St. Paul, MN before moving to Charlotte. She was an Account Assistant for Norwest Mortgage in Charlotte. Alicia was a radiant person who touched many people with her incredible smile, her words of wisdom and her wonderful sense of humor. She gave her heart and soul to anyone in need and amazed people around her by her strength and courage. For those who loved her, she was a piece of heaven here on earth.
Her survivors include her husband, Vern Hudalla of Charlotte; her mother and step-father, Helen G. and Robert Helmke of Duluth, MN; her daughters, Teresa Halbrehder-Lombardi and husband John of Staten Island, NY, Angela DuBois and husband Bob of Lino Lakes, MN; her step-daughters, Tami Hudalla of Seattle, WA, Kim Mansfield of North St. Paul, MN; her step-son, Todd Hudalla of St. Paul, MN; and by her beloved grandchildren, Dominique, Paige, McKenna and Connor.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Kidney Foundation, 5950 Fairview Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home of Matthews.
