SEE THE WINDY CITY AT ITS VERY BEST!!!!!
If you have 2 days to spare to tour Chicago, you can definitely see a lot of the WINDY CITY..
If you only have a day, don’t worry because you would still be able to appreciate a day’s worth of your time here.

ONE DAY ONLY: - plan your day early. You should be here downtown by 9AM to maximize your time
**Purchase your HOP ON/HOP OFF ticket online $26 by logging on to www.coachusa.com/chicagotrolley

- I recommend you purchase this online before you arrive here in Chicago so you would get a discount of 10%

- Summer promos are in the air, so, instead of the SIGNATURE tour (downtown Chicago), there are THREE additional FREE NEIGHBORHOOD tours.FOUR tours for the price of ONE for
May 23 to Sep 7 only

- Not only that, you would get a FREE Chicago t-shirt, FREE Hershey's chocolate bar, FREE Garrett Popcorn sample (known to be Oprah’s favorite popcorn!)

- Purchase your ticket also for the SEARS TOWER (Willis, if you insist!) so you don’t have to worry about the long line there

- BUDGET YOUR TIME so you would be able to take photos and check out every place; trolley interval every 10-15minutes

- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to stop, get off and take photos in the following:

1.Millenium Park (Cloud Gate, Crown Fountain, Pritzker Pavilion, Lurie Garden and the Buckingham Fountain)

2.Magnificent Mile (Wrigley Building,NBC tower, Chicago River) ; if you want to shop, this may take a lot of your time because there are gazillion shops in the MagMile

3.SEARS TOWER (Willis) – don’t forget your ticket

4.Navy Pier ; this would be fun for those with kids because of the Children’s Museum but, adults could always enjoy the Smithsonian Museum of Stained Glass (amazing!)…

5.OPRAH studio – you could just take a photo outside; this is part of the neighborhood tour

- Hershey’s bar could be claimed at the Water Tower stop ; Garrett Popcorn sample could be claimed at the Theater District stop; T-shirt could be claimed at the Millenium Park stop
- If you want to explore the Museums of Chicago, a day is not enough, so the tour would probably suffice. You don’t have to get off.;
- DON’T FORGET to try CHICAGO’S DEEP DISH PIZZA; choices of:

GIORDANO’S PIZZA 135 E. LAKE ST. (312) 616-1200 OR 730 N. RUSH ST. (312) 951-0747

PIZZERIA UNO 29 E. OHIO ST. (312) 321-1000 this place is EXTREMELY PACKED!

GINO’S EAST of CHICAGO 633 N. WELLS ST. (312) 943-1124

TWO DAYS IN CHICAGO: - should be here by 9am in Downtown Chicago

Day 1: Purchase HOP ON/OFF ticket as instructed above for day 1

Day 2: places that you missed on day 1 that you want to venture more

-if you wish to shop along Magnificent Mile this is the day

-take the LAKE and RIVER architectural tour (90 MINUTES) for $24; stairs leading down to the loading area located infront of the Wrigley Building. You could catch any of the following times: 1030am, 1145am; 100pm; 215pm, 3pm, 430pm, 6pm,7pm, 845pm

-if you love museums, ART INSTITUTE of Chicago for $18, SHEDD AQUARIUM for $24.95 and FIELD MUSEUM for $23 are must-see places but of course you could only pick one or two if you only have a day.

-For those who’d want to check out Michael Jordan’s Statue at the United Center, it is at 1901 West Madison St.

-Before you know it, the day is over and you are as tired as an ox but you could always enjoy the Chicago Skyline by night atop John Hancock’s Signature Lounge with a drink.. coffee, juices, sodas and wines.. You may be paying just a bit extra for the drink but you can’t beat the fact that you would not have to pay a fee to go up to the 95th floor and enjoy the view. You would surely love it! Let’s just hope there’d be clear sky! No rains..
