Maria Auxilio Flores

DUMAS - Maria Auxilio Flores, 52, died Monday, March 23, 2009.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel in Dumas. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery.

Maria was a graduate of Dumas High School and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She loved to sing and play board games, but her true love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Rocky Cortes and Joe Cortes, both of Dumas; her mother, Camerina Flores of Dumas; a sister, Lucy Cortes of Dumas; a brother, Sid Flores of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren.
