Rhonda Kay Heard, 44, of Amarillo died Tuesday, May 28, 2002.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel with K. Ray McDowell, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Ms. Heard was born in Amarillo and graduated from Dumas high School. She lived in Dumas from 1964 to 1977. She moved to Amarillo in 1977. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Heard in 1988; and a brother, Ronnie Heard in 1995.

Survivors include her mother, Rose Heard of Amarillo; and her uncle, Eddy Haddock of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association.
