I just read on facebook that Jon has lost 50 pounds! Congrats man. That is great, stay away from the halloween candy.

Brian, you did a great job putting the event together. I had such a great time, it was just awesome. Rob and Jim C., sorry I missed you guys. Everone looked great and it was easy recognizing people as no one really changed much. We were talking about doing it again and I can't wait.

Again, Brian, kudos to you!

Brian, you did a great job putting together this reunion. It was great to see everyone and I had a wonderful time. We must do it again. St. Mary's was always such a special place and now I can remember why.

It was nothing and thank you everyone for the kind words. I had a great time as well. Everyone looked fantastic and I hope to see everyone else again sometime next year. It was great and keep in touch! I hope everyone gets to see the pictures, next time we need to get everyone! Now I have to wake up Giancarlo, maybe put his finger in water first!

Chante Mantilla (Kubs)

Hello to All....
I added the pictures from the Reunion in my profile............. I have to back and put the names in, but Brian you were right it was very easy........

Thanks Chante, how come the only blurry picture is me?Hmmmmmmmmmm. It was great to see you! I am talking to George on line now!

Only 8 people have voted on class song, I still say Maneater. Chate and George agree. Chris and Giancarlo say it was Seperate Ways. This weekends theme was "Giancarlo is WRONG!"

12 out of 20 students and our 3 favorite teachers, not bad for a reunion. Plus all those parents! and 5 or 6 kids from other classes.

Brian Pfeufer

I also forgot to mention, it was great to meet everyones spouses. Thanks.

I spoke with George, if he doesn't participate in the class forum, he is off next years reunion party list!

Mrs.Slack he know calls you Palin.

James Coberg

I also really enjoyed seeing everyone. I did not want to leave so soon but had to go to make it to bowling and then to a dinner reservation for my birthday. Hopefully there will be another mini-reunion in the spring or sometime. We'll have to get the out of state folks up here.

Giancarlo Taliente

Brian,

Of course George is going to say it was Maneater, it was his favorite song. But he, like you and Chante are Both WRONG!!!!!

By way, everyone looked wonderful. I hope we all keep in touch

and another thing, Chris did a great job grilling. Brownies were awesome, I think I gained 5 pounds. Cookies, Spiniach Dip, Fruit, etc. Thanks everyone, Happy Birthday Jim and Mrs.Slack- HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Where are you Giancarlo? I thought I locked you in the garage?

3 against 2, we win!

George Ojeda

Hey there everyone! Sorry I have been MIA, but busy season is upon us at the airport here in Fort Lauderdale, which means us geeks here in the IT department work double-time.

I promise to make my way around these parts more frequently!

It was great seeing all the pictures of everyone who managed to make it to the reunion. Everyone looks simply *fantastic*!

As I wrote over on Brian's Facebook page, the credit for all of this goes to Brian himself. The gift of reconnecting with the past is a priceless one indeed. I thank him for that.

I consider everyone here to be a friend.

Well, enough of that. I've got to tie up some loose ends here:

Jon - Sorry about your Rays. I was pulling for them. It is always great to see a bunch of kids play the game with such grace and heart; the way it was meant to be played. Up until recently, I was traveling to St. Pete pretty frequently, yet never made it over to the Trop. When the Yanks come to St. Pete next season, I am going to make a point of going. I just wish MLB would let the Yanks play the 'Fish during interleague play. Automatic sell-out.

Chante - You look fantastic and Vanessa looks great as well. I caught your family pics here on the site. Handsome family. Please pass-along my regards to Vanessa and your parents for me.

Ann - You're blonde now?! LOL - fabulous, the look suits you well.

Therese & Karen - You know, I've always had this notion that you two could be sisters. Seeing the reunion pics now only cements the thought. Both of you look great. I still remember Therese's near-silent, delicate sneezing...LOL!

Jim - If I am not mistaken, you turn 40 this week. Is this correct? Yup yup, your profile says you do. Happy birthday my friend. Maybe one of these days we will get around to the business of getting married. :)

Chris - Good seeing you, and your mom, in the reunion pics. You could pass for a Boston Red Sox player with the rugged goatee!

Vincent - You look great, but I didn't see the wifey and kids there. At least you did manage to upload other pics. I hear your parents are doing great. Pass along my regards to them. Hope your sister is doing good as well.

Carlos - I chose Maneater because it came first and it was something the class sort of latched onto spontaneously.

Robert - You haven't aged a day, God bless ya!

Tim/Mike - Tim, I know you like fishing like I do. If you ever make it to South Florida, we'll do the deep-sea fishing thing. Mike were the tough guy back then, and you still look like the tough guy today. Good seeing both of you in pictures.

Mrs. K/Morris - Mary, Brian tells me you were a riot. Somehow that doesn't surprise me. I do remember your unique sense of humor. Mrs. K, there is this one picture of you with Mary, and Mary is saying something to you while you both peer at whatever you both were peering at. Somehow, I think you two were up to no good. LOL!

...and last, but never least...

Debra - I saw your picture, and the first thing that came to mind was "Sarah Palin"..LOL! That is a good thing. You still look like a million bucks.

Kudos to Brian getting Joey and Colette out to the gathering as well.

I'll upload pics of myself soon, just have to go find some recent ones - or take some.

I won't be a stranger, promise!

George Ojeda

Oh, almost forgot - Happy Birthday Debra! How old are you now, 32? :)

A million bucks I tell ya!

11/02/08 02:32 PM #133

Giancarlo Taliente

Wow, George did make up for his absence on the forum didn't he

11/02/08 03:30 PM #134

Karen Reilly (Etelman)

I just have to agree that it was great seeing everyone yesterday. It didn't seem like 25 years had past! Those who couldn't attend were missed. Looking forward to the next get together.

11/02/08 03:34 PM #135

Brian Pfeufer

George, you and Coberg are getting married? Was that a proposal? I feel insulted, I didn't even know that you two were dating? Cute couple. Thanks for getting on the site, we missed you on the site and at the reunion. Everyone looked fantastic!

11/02/08 03:34 PM #136

Brian Pfeufer

Karen, what was the class song? Tell your husband I said "Hi", he is a great guy.

Paula wrote on my facebook page:
hi brian, great pictures from the party yesterday. i wish i could have been there. everyone seems to have had a lot of fun. next time i'd like to be there. hope all is well... paula

I also spoke with Jon on my cell last night, he gave me a call and we talked abit about the reunion.

11/02/08 05:22 PM #137

Karen Reilly (Etelman)

I have no idea, but Chris seems to have the best memory, so I'll go with whatever song he says it was.
Dave had fun meeting everyone too.

Brian Pfeufer

Karen I am now disappointed, you sided with Chris! He didn't even remember that he had a Vikings duffle bag when we were in 6th grade.

It was nice talking with Dave and John (Therese's husband).

I will post my own thoughts on the reunion as well. I am building drama.

11/02/08 07:08 PM #139

George Ojeda

Yes, me and Jim are getting married. We've decided the savings in wardrobe costs alone was worth it. :)

LOL!!

11/02/08 07:12 PM #140

George Ojeda

Indeed, I remember Chris' Vikings duffle as well as Vinnie's Raiders duffle too.

Brian, what of Sean Lane (Layne)? He used to live about 2 houses up from you on Hunting Dr.

Im surprised no one has talked too much about the Searles' family either.

11/02/08 07:15 PM #141

James Coberg

Hey George. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I don't feel a day over 20 and still sometimes don't act it either. Anyway, hopefully you can make it up here one of these days. Also, don't allow Brian to twist your sentences around.

I am just dying inside that I missed it. Speaking to Brian and Giancarlo was great last night. We laughed alot. Mom spoke so highly about seeing everyone and how parents started showing up. I hear they are meeting for lunch or something now. Seeing the pictures just now was awesome!!! I thought I would need labels for everyone but Brian told me I wouldn't and he was right. Regardless of what Giancarlo says, nobody has changed!!! I hope everyone wants to do something again next year because I am NOT missing that again.

AND WELCOME BACK GEORGE!!! I thought you got tired of Brian picking on you or you got banned from talking to us again. Glad to finally have you. It's Ok about the Rays. I, of course, wanted them to win but how can you be really upset about going from the absolute WORST team in baseball to the 2nd best and beating out the Red Sox to do it was even better!! If you come to St. Pete, TELL ME!! My wife and I go to alot of games and we are planning on getting partial season tickets for next year.

Ok, I gotta go because I am getting emotional over all of this. (sob)
