Everyone sounds great!!! By the way Brian, I dragged my husband (an avid Bruce Springsteen fan) to a Duran Duran concert a couple of years ago! You could imagine his enthusiasm!
So here's my update:
I went to Dumont high after St Mary's which was a difficult ajustment at first but then I met a couple of girls who became good friends (and are to this day) which helped me through the transition from the comfort of St Marys to the big bad public high school!
After high school I went to Dominican college for social work (we have to talk Chante!!!!) and then to Columbia University for my masters in social work. I worked in mental health for a long time and then started doing hospice work and private practice. I met my husband Rick in 2001and we got married a year and a half later and 9 months later I had my daughter Mia. Last october 2007 I had my second daughter Sophie. They are a constant source of joy (when they are not completely driving me crazy and I am not completey sleep deprived...which is never) I am working per diem at a hospice in Bergen county and looking to start up a small practice in the town I live in which is West Milford NJ. Bear country for anyone who doesn't know. It still baffles my husband why I agreed to move up here because he says I am such a Bergen County girl! (I am not sure if that is a compliment or not...) It's beautiful up here but takes some getting used to. We've been here for three years. My husband is a high school teacher in Westchester County NY and he recently got his adminstrative certification so that he can not apply to be a vice principal or principal. We hope that he can find a job in Central or Southern jersey so we can move to the shore which is where we would both like to be. He's from Staten Island, so he grew up on the water and I am a beach girl at heart.
It would be great to see you guys again! I did see Brian several years ago, I ran into Vinne at the bagel store in Dumont, and I saw Ann, who looks AWESOME buy the way! at our 20th high school reunion last November (was that a hoot or what Ann!) And Ann, Brian tells me you just had a baby....were you pregnant at the reunion?????...my math skills are still not that good, but I think you must have been pregnant!!!!!
I am going to attempt to open the pictures and see for myself all your beautiful families, however I am not optimistic that I will be able to. I am a complete spaz with the computer. It will take me probably the rest of this year to figure out how to send pictures to you guys.
