We are sad to report the passing of classmate Jeannette Edgar Gardner, who passed away Feb. 23, 2023, in a Tallahassee hospital after a long illness

Jeannette was a bright, popular, outgoing student who always had a good word for fellow students and faculty. She retained her love for the class by serving as a member of the class of 1962 reunion committee for a number of years. 

Jeannette had been in and out of the hospital and rehab facility for the last four months of her life. While there, she declared the Glory of the Lord to anyone who would listen, and prayed with and for many nurses and patients.

Jeannette’s ashes, along with those of her mother, and her dog, Cinnamon, will be scattered off the Crystal Beach pier at a date to be determined.
