Priscilla's senior candid.
Our dear classmate Priscilla Perusse Fickett, who we knew as Priscilla Perusse, passed away on Oct. 26, 2026. She joined our class in fifth grade.
Here are some excerpts from her obituary, which appeared on the website of the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Springfield, MA:
Priscilla A. (Perusse) Fickett, 75, of East Longmeadow, MA, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, in Williamstown, MA.
Born on Oct. 17, 1951, Priscilla was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred and Ruth (Witkowski) Perusse. She was raised in East Longmeadow and graduated from East Longmeadow High School.
Priscilla worked for many years as a dedicated bookkeeper for Williams Distributing.
Priscilla had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. She especially enjoyed hiking, long walks along the ocean, photography, and woodworking. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and cherished the time she spent surrounded by the beauty of nature. One of her greatest passions was participating in search and rescue activities alongside her beloved Alaskan Malamute, Tasha, with whom she shared a special bond.
Above all else, Priscilla cherished her family and the memories they created together. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Heather M. Wood of Agawam, MA; her two cherished grandsons, Tyler and Lucas Wood; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Davina Wood. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Knowles and her husband, Bob of Southwick, MA; and two nieces, Michelle Plamondon of West Hartford, CT and Nicole Short of Arlington, MA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Theodore Moran of Lousiville, KY.
Priscilla will be remembered for her love of family, her adventurous spirit, her appreciation for the outdoors, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
