I am very sad to let you know that the Class of 1974 has lost our dear friend and classmate, John Barron, who died peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at his home in Belchertown, surrounded by his family and friends. John grew up on Sanford Street in EL and was an engineer at Verizon until his retirement in 2011.  John is survived by his beloved wife Maria (Reyes) Barron, his stepdaughter Yasmeen Reyes, brothers; James, Michael and Joel Barron and sisters; Liz Hebert and Amy Burke.  May he rest in eternal peace.
