Here is the obituary I saved for our classmate and friend, John, who unfortunately passed away much too soon on September 20, 1991:

John F. Hearn, 35, of 11 Clareside Drive, a five-year employee of the Massachusetts State Highway Department, died Friday at home.  Born in Springfield, he lived in East Longmeadow most of his life.  He was a graduate of East Longmeadow High School, and had attended Western New England College in Springfield and Berklee College of Music in Boston.  He performed with the East Longmeadow Players theater group and he was a communicant of St. Michael's Church.  He leaves his mother, Anna Hearn of East Longmeadow, and a sister, Anne Marie Donohue of Asusa, California.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
