Sadly, our friend and classmate Mark Silloway passed away on October 19, 2009.  Here is the obituary printed in the Springfield paper:

Mark J. Silloway 1956 2009 PITTSFIELD---Mark J. Silloway, 53, of this city, passed away unexpectedly at home on Oct. 19, 2009. Born June 20, 1956 in Springfield, MA, Mark was the son of Barbara A. Weake, and the late Fred G. Silloway, who passed away in September, 2009. Mark attended East Longmeadow schools, graduated from Devereux in PA., and had served in the Air National Guard. Mark is survived by a daughter, Chelsey Silloway of W. Sand Lake, NY, a son Andrew Silloway of Pittsfield, MA, his mother Barbara Weake and her husband John of Largo, FL, a brother David Silloway and his wife Norma of Ware, MA, two sisters, Beth Wade of East Longmeadow, MA, and Lynne Silloway of Castleton, VT, three stepsisters, Linda Brown of Montgomery, AL, Lisa Hansford of Lake Elsinore, CA, and Wendy Joseph of Millis, MA. Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, MA entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
