Hamm, Gay Louise (Roth) 59, of Edina, MN, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 2 with her loving husband at her side. Born March 15, 1951 in Moline, Illinois to Robert W and Dorothy M Roth. Married August 10, 1973 in East Moline, Illinois to David C Hamm. Resided in Iowa City and Burlington, Iowa; Minneapolis and Edina, Minnesota. Worked as a dental assistant, pharmacy assistant, jewelry store salesperson and in the claims department of NWNL before deciding to become a full time homemaker. Gay was an avid antique collector and dealer having space in several shops in the metro area at various times. She loved socializing with all of her antique buddies. Gay was a dog lover who loved each of the five dogs she has owned. Gay is survived by husband, David; sister, Karen (Fred) Herrick of Panhandle, Texas; brother, Robert Roth of Moline, Illinois; sister, Maureen Ferguson of East Moline, Illinois; Stephen Stevens of Breckenridge, Texas; mother-in-law, Merline Hamm and sister-in-law, Janis (Greg) Rhoads of Austin, MN; brother-in law, Dennis Hamm of Davenport, Iowa.
