Gerald was one of our group from Fairmont City,who attended Rose Lake grade school and was in my graduating class from eight grade in 1956, We had a total of 12 graduates that year. I do remember having a crush on him most of the time we attended Rose Lake. He was fairly quiet but polite and not rough like some. His mother and mine were often room mothers together. I doubt he ever knew I had a crush on him. I last saw and spoke with him at one of the reunions Farimont City has every Aug. several years ago. He was very nice and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
