Linda Cartwright Evers originated the Eastmont64.com website.  She created, managed and funded the site without seeking out credit for her efforts.  Linda will be missed by many.

Being out of state for years, the only contact I had with Linda since high school, was through this website, reunions and facebook. She always came through with joy, a big smile, and encouragement.  So sad to see her go, but rejoicing in her new home, pain free, and with the Lord.  She is now one of the 'cloud of witnesses'!  Praying for her family and friends. I will remember Linda as a very intelligent, proper, and dignified, lady. Always pleasant, friendly, and a genuine good person. Quoting Scripture, John 3:16..... FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN  SON. THAT WHOMEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. Linda has passed into that eternal life that the Lord has promised to those that believe in Him. The grief we experience when a loved one departs is only natural. We will miss her, but cling to the fond memories that came from knowing her and the example that she set as a wonderful, thoughtful, kind and gentle person. We can rejoice knowing and having the confidence that she is now in a much better place. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing and sooooo glad to have seen her at the 50th reunion. Since I had not been to any reunion before then, I hadn't seen Linda since high school. But when I saw her at the 50th reunion, she was the same lovely person that she was in high school. She always had a smile on her face and was so friendly to everyone. I had a great time visiting with her at the reunion and it was as if we had been in touch all along. I also appreciated the fact that she had run this website for us for so many years. She will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her.

I send my prayers for all of her friends and family and hope that they will hold on to all their great memories of time spent with her on this earth.
