Goblirsch, Mary Elizabeth, Age 66, of St. Paul, passed away June 11, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Mary attended Edina Public schools and Creighton University, followed by Colorado Community College. Mary was a free spirit with a smile that would light up any room. Coming to age in the 60s shaped Mary's free spirited outlook on life, love and the environment. Not only was Mary a pioneer in the reusability movement, she was quick to help someone in need, and had a distinct passion for the outdoors. She spent much of her early adult life in Colorado exploring the Rockies, swimming in the hot springs and raising her daughter. Later in life, she returned to the Twin Cities where she was actively involved with AA, always first to raise her hand to sponsor another person in recovery, spent time birding and walking the lakes. She loved the outdoors with a passion, loved spending time with her family, was quick to hug, express her love and quick to tell an outlandish story from her youth. Mary had the innate ability to make anyone she was talking with, feel like the most important person in the room. Mary is survived by her daughter Beth Davis, grandchildren Sloane and Eli Davis, parents Marie and David Goblirsch, and siblings Michael Goblirsch (Jennifer), Ann Moberg (Randy) and Nan Goblisch. Mary will also be forever remembered by her extended family, dear friends and AA community. Her celebration of life will be held at Minnehaha Park Wabun Picnic Area A on July 19, 2021, at 4:30 PM.
