While on the job for Edina Police, I ran into "Maggie"at the Vernon Ave AMOCO where he was working.
Hadn't seem him since the High School days, and we talked for a little while but it became busy.
I told him that I would be back, hopefully at a quieter time.
Maybe a week or so later, I read in the paper that he had been executed in a robbery gone bad at another AMOCO station in Minneapolis..................
Thank you for your recognition and acknoledgement of Jim Magnus who lost his life in a tragic and horrific manner. I recall working with Jim at the Edina Country Club and spending countless hours skiing with him at Buck Hill where he was a member of the ski patrol. We also had a memorable trip to Aspen that included Dave Crouch and Greg Linhoff.
