My heart is broken. Liz was my cousin and we grew up only blocks apart and we were only months apart in age so I have obviously known her all my life. I have always loved her even when we were miles apart or when we weren't speaking. She has been through so much in her life and has overcome so much in the last few years. She has been in constant pain the last few years so I am glad that she is now pain free. I am sure she is sitting around the kitchen table with her mom (Pat), her sister Ellen and her brother Michael and having a wonderful meal.
Liz was incredibly talented and loved creating beautiful art whether that be creating wonderful wreaths, making handmade cards, painting or felting. I loved our Saturdays crafting together and always looked forward to them.
My heart goes out to her husband Brad who has been her caretaker and best friend for so many years. She was very lucky to have that kind of love in her life.
I will miss her and remember her for the rest of my life. Love you Liz!
