Borene, Jay W. Age 51, formerly of Richfield, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2009. Beloved son. Preceded in death by his father, Cliff; and stepson, Timmy. Jay is survived by his loving mother, Beverly; brother, Scott (Penny Van Kampen); sister, Jan (Alan Mathiowetz); stepchildren, Greg Wilson, Stephanie Wilson; nephew, Andrew; and great nephews, Magnus and Dane. Funny and smart. A dog's best friend and just as loyal. Grill master and host for feasts with friends and family. Jay dearly loved his stepchildren. Never met a train he didn't like. A big, tall man who always found the time to bend close to his kids, his pals, his pets and anyone or anything that needed his help. Generous, perhaps to a fault, but always without a doubt. Everybody said Jay's homemade chocolate chip cookies were heavenly. Today he gets to put them to the test. Bake on, Jay.
