Many disagree over what constituted  the first true Disco record, but there is no doubt that by 1975 the nation is gripped by Disco Fever.  Hits like Van McCoy's  The Hustle and Donna Summer's  Love to Love you Baby  are in the vanguard & even rockers like the Rolling Stones get into the act.

The craze peaks with 1977's movie and soundtrack Saturday Night Fever, featuring the BeeGees. While still vital at decade's end, rumblings of  "Disco Sucks" herald the rising musical backlash.....
