Jeffrey de Freese

Jeffrey Louis de Freese passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jeffrey was born August 22, 1959 to Patricia and Dennis de Freese in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 
He grew up in Oklahoma City and Edmond where he graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. He graduated from UCO, formerly Central State University, with a B.A. degree in Political Science. 
He attended First Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City, where his grandfather was the pastor from 1952-1981. He sang in the church choir, was an Acolyte, and Crucifer.
Jeffrey moved to San Francisco, California where he worked for Pacific Marine Yachts, organizing weddings, cruises, and company events throughout the bay area. 
He left San Francisco after 7 years and returned to Edmond when his mother became ill with cancer. He remained in Edmond working for Prudential Securities, Hogan Information, and Business Imaging Systems. 
He left Oklahoma in 2016 and moved to Albuquerque. His last employment was at Grand Canyon National Park where he met people from around the world and enjoyed the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon.
He loved to travel and attend operas around the country. He enjoyed music, books, and played the piano. He loved to cook and to entertain friends and family. His faith was very important to him and he loved visiting and attending many churches on his travels.
Jeffrey cared dearly for his friends and family and will be deeply missed. 
He is survived by his father Dennis, of Eugene, Oregon, sister Julie Biby and her husband Lloyd, of Eugene, Oregon, sister Jennifer D'Amico and husband Nick, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, his uncle Jack and aunt Edie de Freese of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, cousins, nieces , nephews across the country, and many wonderful friends.
