Lonny Dolezal February 29, 1948 to March 21, 2026
from Anna Dolezal, June 27, 2026
Turns out we had no obituary for Lonny. We did honor him with a flag presentation and taps was played. It did turn out to be a lovely day. We just didn't feel the need to broadcast it in the newspaper. We didn't even have a pamphlet. We just played some rock'n'roll, shared some beers, and a little smoke and we had a party in his name just like he wanted.
4-30-26 had live music from his favorite musicians.

Please tell the classmates Lonny was a hero, he knew what he was facing, and he met the challenge head on. I've never seen such a brave person.
He was in Hospice for one week and one day, he was so ready to run free and be pain-free.

I remember a quick conversation I had with Lonny at the 50th reunion. He told me he was always so jealous of the fact that I could blow a "High C" on my trumpet and he never could. Well, Lonny, I hope you are able to reach it now. So sad to hear about your demise.
