Cynthia had such a kind heart and was so willing to help new class members feel welcome to Desert High.  Her beauty will be remembered forever.

When I first came to Desert Jr. High, Cynthia was really the first one to make me feel welcome.  She was always so kind and told me not to worry about the other girls they would "come around".  When I had to move to Florida for my senior year, our band and majorettes were invited to perform in the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C.  While staying at one of the hotels, Cynthia came to visit me for a few minutes.  (She had also relocated to Washington D.C. with her family).  I always thought it was so nice for her to come and visit for a few minutes, but that was the kind of person she was, and I was very, very sad to hear of her passing.  In her obituary they called her an angel on earth, and I truly believe that!  She was a very spiritual person I will always fondly remember.   heart

Cynthia was a sweet girl who was a neighbor when my family moved to Edwards. She was kind and helpful in my introduction to a public high school since I was coming from a Parochial school in Texas. May she rest in peace.
