Enrique was born January 9, 1952, in El Paso, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He worked for the City of El Paso Parks & Recreation Department, KTSM-TV, and El Paso Electric, from which he retired after 28 years, in 2013. Since then, he became a tenured professor at El Paso Community College.
He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Quintana, his children, Enrique Quintana III & Maritza Quintana, his granddaughter Judeanna Quintana, his siblings, Rosemary Rodriguez & Charles Quintana, and his mother, Elena Quintana. Along with numerous cousins and family members.
He is preceded in death by his father, Enrique Quintana.
Visitation services will be held from 5 PM – 9 PM, Rosary to commence at 7 PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Hillcrest Funeral Home – East, located at 1060 Carolina Drive. Life Celebration Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Patrick Cathedral, located at 1118 N Mesa Street. Pallbearers will be Enrique Quintana III, Charles Quintana, Gary Bautista, Larry Bautista, Sr., Joseph Rangel, Fernie Rangel, Jack Daniel Bolaños & John Hupfer.
