 Matthew Michael Rodriguez
Feb.14,1970-March 2007
After graduating from Burges, Matt attended UTEP for one year. He then moved to Dallas for three years. While in Dallas, he held different jobs. He pursued a career in modeling. He moved back to El Paso and went back to UTEP. While attending school, he was a coordinator for the Salvation Army. He received his Bachlors Degree in Business in May of 2002. In 2006, Matt went back to school to get his Masters in Business. Matt passed away in 2007 due to illness. He will be dearly missed.
Matt is preceeded in death by his brother Rene Rodriguez. He is survived by his parents Armando and Jessie Rodriguez, two brothers Vincent Rodriguez and Brian "Wolf" Rodriguez, one sister Jessica Rodriguez and several nieces and nephews.

Matt was a sweetheart. I'm sad to hear of his passing. I still remember hanging out with him on the stairs by the wrestling office. May God watch over his family and bring them peace.Christine Seelig
Matt, Lisa, Grace and I had a blast at the 10yr. at the Friday nights events. We had many laughs because Grace is a NUT. When I found out about his passing I was saddened but knew that he would be with each of us in a very special way. Matt was my best friend. If I ever needed anything he was always there to lend a hand. I remember him at the 10yr reunion, he had a blast!! He was so happy that he went. I know he will be at our 20yr in spirit, in our hearts and memories. I miss you Matt. God Bless and may you rest in peace.Lisa
