Daniel Quintanar I've only been to New York for 2 hours on a medical flight. I would love to return and check out the sights. But February is not a good time for me. I might be able to take some time off in June or July though. But keep the ideas coming.

Well guys it seems that I might not be able to get back to EP for a while. I start the new job with Deutsche Bank this Monday (9th) so I'm not sure how soon I can take some time off.

Yes it finally came through. I had been in talks with the recruiter since October, had 4 phone interviews, one face-to-face and a video interview. The offer was made mid-January and I just got my offer letter this Thursday. It has been nail biting, but it's here!!! I'm quite excited!! So that's the news on my end. I just didn't want to say much just in case it fell through. It's an opportunity I couldn't say no to. New career, more moolah, and opportunity to really move around with the company. So.....woooooo hoooooo! LOL

Well I am the liason between QA and new clients. I will make sure that all new client accounts have the proper regulatory documentation once they've been opened and have gone through AML (anti money laundering) and OFAC, making checks they are in compliance. If I can't get them through a client I have to find them by any means possible. This could mean using foreign databases, web searches, etc. Frankly it's complicated, and being day 3 I am still trying to understand the new jargon that I'll have to adapt to. Being a European bank makes it challenging too. They don't have VP, AVP, etc, they are called MD's (Managing Directors). So..it's an entirely new world for me.

Daniel Quintanar OK peeps, this calls for a celebration. Let's all drink in Alicia's honor. In April I will have Fridays and Saturdays off so we definitely need to start planning weekend gatherings. I'm up for having a cookout at my place or at a park. Let me know. And mark your calendars for Memorial day weekend. WINE FESTIVAL. Ya'll know I never miss the wine festivals. Let me know.

LOL no I don't have to move. In fact they are going to see about moving all operations from NY to JAX just because Fl won't tax them to death if they bring new business here, and 60 Wall St is expensive, so they'll be keeping a skeleton crew at 60 Wall and have us here in Jax. So far I am the first one here in Jax, the rest of the crew is in NY and New Jersey. They are looking to move the crew down here but for those that can't move here will either be reassigned or goodbye for them. So no pressure right???? That's about it. No you don't have an insider in the trading business Danny! I'm just making sure the accounts that are opened are in compliance. Sorry! LOL
