Regret to inform you that James Dean Cain has passed away.
Born Wednesday, February 16, 1944
Died Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at a hospice in McDonough, Georgia.
Had heart trouble. In the end it was organ failure.


"Mr. James D. Cain, age 65 of Griffin passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough."

"Mr. Cain was born February 16, 1944 in Wichita, KS to James Robert Cain and the late Virginia Pearl Bryant Cain. He was a member of the Griffin First Baptist Church and taught in children's ministries for 30 plus years. Mr. Cain was a teacher with the Griffin-Spalding County School System, an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow.

Survivors include his wife of 41 year,s Mary Ellen Cain; son, Alexander Anthony Cain; daughters, Anastacia Celeste Bollen and Aprille Nicole Cain; father, James Robert Cain; brother, Earl Thomas Cain; sisters, Betty Jean Huggins and Mary Anne Bidwell; brother-in-law, Larry Lane and several nephews.

Funeral services held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Griffin First Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Bill Hardee.
James is interred at Westwood Gardens at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd., Griffin Georgia.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
