We're living in a world of stars and dust
Between heaven 'n all that surrounds us
We're travellers here, spirits passing through
And the love we give, is all that will endure
Just like a rose after the rain
Something beautiful remains
Tears will leave no stains
Time will ease the pain
For every life that fades
Something beautiful remains

Significant lyric from Something Beautiful Remains

I remember Mary Jo as such a happy-go lucky person.  I  had forgotten just how smart she was until I read this obituary--but now rememberr that she was.

Mary Jo wrote the lyrics to our school song, although I think they may have changed them over the years.  I hope she got so much joy out of her life, and send my condolences to her family.
