CLASS OF 1968 REUNION UPDATE 1-26-2026

Dear Fellow Classmates and Alumni,

It's only four months/16 weeks until we meet for our 60^th Reunion, May 29 – 30, 2026. Time to update everyone and encourage you to email/text Karla, Jim or me with your RSVP.  This will be our last organized reunion--our Last Round Up, so please make every effort to attend.  It will be memorable!! Listen to the video link on our Home Page. Attention Classmates: Please help us find Alumni from all past graduating classes--Especially 1966, 1967, 1969, and 1970. We want to see as many alumni as possible!!

Our room block is still accessible, and we invite you to make your reservations as soon as possible. In addition to renewing friendships and celebrating our 60^th, we have a Friday lunch , Friday mixer at Hotel and Saturday dinner planned.

Friday’s lunch will be at the Lunch Box Restaurant and Saturday’s dinner will be at Great American Steakhouse; both located near our host hotel.

CLASS OF 1968 REUNION

Dear Fellow Classmates and Alumni,

We will have our 60th Class of 1968 Reunion, May 29 and 30, 2026. Our reasoning is that if we wait until 2028, our life and lives will change. We are all moving along the age continuum and getting together two years early is a sound idea. Plus, if you think about it, back in 1966 we were Sophomores and could not wait to be Seniors.  And now we can imagine it and live it!

We will be extending invitations to the Class of 1966, 1967, 1969 and 1970.  Please pass along to any and all alumni and classmates.

Friday, May 29 we will meet for a Social/Meal at a nice restaurant, to be announced.. Then on Saturday, we will have dinner at Great American Steakhouse on Airway Blvd.

For Saturday's dinner we need to have at least 50 attendees/guests as we have to pay a deposit,  As you may remember, we had dinner at The Great American Steakhouse in 2018 and the food, refreshments and service were excellent.

The costs for both events are self-pay.

Deal Fellow Classmates and Alumni,

One of our fellow Classmates, Mark Smith, sent us several pictures of our newly Remodeled Irvin High School.  Looks very nice and this may be the first real remodel since we left in 1968.  A BIG THANK YOU to Mark!!!!  And if you would like to personally thank Mark he can be reached via email at: markgsmith1949@aol.com 

Mark states:  

I was out by Irvin yesterday and took the attached pictures of the new front of the school. It is a very different image than what we knew. Thought you might want to post them on the web site.So nice to hear from you. Attached are the few other pictures I took.

Doing well, keeping busy, still breathing. Hope the same for you.

Not sure when we might do another Reunion.  Our next one would be our 55th and maybe not in the cards for some of us.  Please let us know your thoughts and we will see what our Reunion Committee can do.
