Joe was always there for the other guy. Every time some one wanted to pound on some one Joe would be there to put a stop to it. I met him in 8th grade in Roosevelt. I remember he had broken his leg and asked me if I want to get out of class early. He asked me to help him with his books.

I remember Joe walking in the halls of Edison Tech with his white tee shirt, straight legs jeans and boots, thick wavy hair and saying he has some sexy bowlegs!!! I will always remember his smile, smart remarks, and him being an all around good guy. I am soooo happy that I got the chance to see him at the 1st reunion luncheon to just laugh and talk with him.Diane Kramer (Battista)
