RANDY ALLAN KISNER
April 12, 1970 - February 8, 2017
Randy Allan Kisner, 46, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was born April 12, 1970 in New Eagle, the son of Linda Stewart Kisner of Monongahela and Howard Kisner of the state of Indiana.
Randy was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, class of 1988. He was a United States Marine Corps. veteran having served in the Gulf War and participated in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. For several years, Randy was a certified nursing assistant having been employed at several different nursing homes in the area. He also owned a family business, Kisner Quality Cleaning in Elizabeth which he operated for ten years, and was a corrections officer at the Washington County Correctional Facility. In 2015, Randy was instrumental in the renovation of the 14th Quartermaster Desert Storm Memorial in Greensburg. After years of neglect, he along with other volunteers helped to make the memorial presentable and honorable once again. Randy had formerly coached Charleroi midget league football and currently was the vice president for CMFA in the Charleroi school district. He loved watching his son, Colton play football for Charleroi and was his number one fan. His memberships include the Sutman Yohe VFW Post 1409 in Black Diamond, the American Legion Post 22 in Charleroi, the Stephen Bayard Lodge #526 F&AM in Elizabeth and was involved with USMC and it's Toys for Tots program. He loved vacationing at the beach with his family each summer, hunting with Colton and was an avid Star Wars fan along with his nephew, Cameron.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lori Rock Kisner with whom he celebrated twenty one years of marriage on November 11, 2016; son, Colton Kisner at home; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 2-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
