Comments:
I received my BS degree in Animal Science from WSU in 1985, then graduated from the WSU vet school in 1989. After a year in dairy practice in Eastern WA, I went back to WSU to get my MS in Epidemiology in 1993. After 11 years and 3 degrees from WSU, it was time to go somewhere else, and I got my PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota in 1998. I was on the faculty at the University of Idaho as head of the Dairy Medicine program for the vet school (with WSU) for 4 years before leaving the U of I to start my consulting / software business in 2000. In 2005, I took some time off from the consulting business to work as the State Epidemiologist for the Wasington State Dept. of Ag until returning to the consulting business in 2009. I currrently run two software companies (AIM, AgriMetrica) from my house in Ellensburg and we make ag software for companies including Pfizer, Land O' Lakes, Darigold, Arm & Hammer, Tillamook Cheese, and many others.
