Taught Home Economics at Hinsdale Junior High School for one year....those poor babies! Went back to college for a course to qualify me to teach high school drop outs and taught in Schaumburg at Conant High School. It was a corn field except for the high school. Married and had our son in 1972 and was a stay at home Mom. Decided to get a design degree at Harrington Inst. of Interior Design. Ended a 25 year marriage and started my business in Chicago. Created Home Make Overs in 1991 and did television....9 shows on HGTV. Married a second time creating a second home in Miami Beach which was in Veranda Magazine. Published internationally. Divorced in 2010. In 2016 was diagnosed as stage 4b lymphoma. Used many alternative ideas and declared well after 4 treatments of chemo. Am now dancing Argentine Tango and West Coast Swing, biking and swimming and enjoying every day.
