Buzako, John Michael

Age 73, of Raeford, NC.  He was born July 23, 1951 in Elmira, NY, son of the late Joseph & Grace Buzako, and passed away Sunday December 29, 2024 at home surrounded by family.  He was preceded in dealth by his wife Judith Ann Buzako, sister Kathryn Ann Buzako and brother Michael Buzako.  He is survived by his children John (Amie) Buzako of Raeford, NC; Patrick (Vivian) Buzako of Holland Patent, NY; daughter-in-law Kristi Hewes of Las Vegas, NV; brothers Joseph (Peg) Buzako of Pine City, NY and Richard (Barbara) Buzako of Parker, CO; sister Marion Losey of Rochester, NY; 9 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  John graduated from Southside High School in 1970.  He worked for Suburban Propane for 20 years, he retired as a truck driver from Dimon & Bacorn.  In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and riding his Harley, and mowing the lawn with his neighbors while sharing a beer.  Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at  Washington Ave., Elmira NY on Monday January 6th from 4 to 7pm.  His funeral service will be held there on Tuesday, January 7th at 10am.  Rev. Scott Kubinski will officiate.  Committal prayers and interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
