Carole "Jeanie" Crawford Hults, a resident of Elmira passed away Tuesday morning, September 15, 2009 in Scranton, PA at the age of 57.  Born on January 20, 1952 in Endicott, NY daughter of Norbert & Elizabeth Heatley Gehrig.  She was employed for many years with the Elmira City School District as a Teacher's Aide.  She enjoyed being a homemaker, reading, crossword puzzles and cross stitch.  The joy of her life was her family and especially the love she had for her grandchildren.  Surviving is her loving family; children, Liza Davis, Valarie Camacho, Francisco III (Jodie) Camacho and Ramon Camacho; ten grandchildren; father, Norbert Gehrig; brothers, Don (Barb) Crawford and Ron (Fran) Gehrig; sister, Amy Crosbie; cherished friend who was like a sister, Dawn Bassett; nieces and nephews.  "Jeanie" was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth "Bea" Gehrig and her birth father, Charles Crawford.  Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport on Sunday, September 20, 2009 between the hours of 4-7PM.  Funeral services will follow at 7:15PM with the Reverend Mari Rockwell officiating.  Graveside services will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery Monday morning after meeting at the Walnut St. Gates at 9:45AM.
