CHERYL RAE (DAVIS) QUARELLA    January 12, 1951 - February 16, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Cheryl Rae Quarella, who peacefully left this world on Monday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 74, at her home after a brief illness.  Born on Januray 12, 1951, in Wellsville, NY to Matthew Davis & Blanche Richardson, Cheryl's life was a testament to strength, resilience, and unconditional love.  She will be remembered for her unwavering determination, kind heart, and the steadfast support she offered to her family and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell Quarella; her parents; one sister, Teresa Stonemetz, and by a half-brother, Neil Miller Davis.  She is lovingly survived by her children, Kevin Rychel (Misty) and Tiffany Lawson (Chris); her cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Kevin Jr., and Hayden Rychel, and Kaitlin and Caleb Lawson.  Cheryl also leaves behind her brother, Ron Stonemetz; two sisters, Norma Stonemetz and Mary Anne Davis Miller; her cousins Chris and Snooky Swanner, Merle and Lea Richardson, and Betty Richardson, and many more nephews, nieces, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in her heart.  

Throughout her career at Midland Memorial Hospital, Cheryl's dedication and compassion touched the lives of many until her retirement on 2014.  Her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her. 

Funeral services are entrusted to Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home in Midland, TX.  Family & friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 6 - 8pm at the funeral home.  A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 a 10am at Hope Community Church, followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetary.  

Cheryl's strength & love will forever remain in our hearts.
