MITCHEL R. MCWHORTER      4/09/52 - 2/22/21

He is survived by his loving mother, Genevieve and predeceased by his father, Vernet (Mac) McWhorter in 2006.  Mitch left behind many loved relatives, son, Shawn (Wendy) McWhorter; grandsons, Caleb Mitchell McWhorter, Lukas Ray McWhorter, and Sheldon Guy McWhorter; as well as his younger brother, Randy B. McWhorter; nephew, Randall B. McWhorter; niece, Miranda (Ryan) Rice, and several nieces and nephews.

Mitch was a lifelong Pine City resident and a lifetime member of the Pine City Volunteer Fire Department.  Mitch thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, and just hanging out with family and friends.  He was a member of P.C.B.C. Benevolent Association.
