W. Gerald McConnell

ANDERSON, SC - William Gerald McConnell, age 66, husband of Kelly Cooley McConnell, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of James William "Jim" McConnell and the late Stella Southerland McConnell. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran in the US Army. He retired from AnMed Health where he worked as an electrical engineer. He was an avid fisherman. 
In addition to his father and wife, Gerald is survived by his sons, Wayne, Jeff, and J. P. McConnell; brother, J. Randall McConnell; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
