I played football with Todd in middle school. He was also in my classes and was my friend. Todd always seemed to have a smile on his face and loved kiding around. For anyone that did'nt have the pleasure of knowing Todd, you missed out on a great person. I miss you old friend. But i'll see you again one day, and we'll see then who can climb the farthest up the wall!!!
Todd was a great guy. We played Football together and he was a great athlete. Taken from this life way too soon. I remember Terry Rippy, Frank Haith, Myself,Melvin Harris and Jeff Clapp all competing in about everything we did in PE. We all were going to be the best at whatever we were doing,be it flag football, bombardment (anyone remember that) Baddaca Pads?? Weight lifting for football, any and everything and we were always chasing Todd. Miss ya Todd, Chuck Hooper
I also remember Todd, but my memories are not as pleasant. My memories of Todd go back to Elon Elementary. I remember riding the bus everyday with him from Elon Middle to Western Middle to Western High. I can remember some rough times having to deal with him. A few of us riding the the bus with him all that time remember someone that was mean and physically abusive Some of my friends Tim Baker, Terry Dameron and Tommy Boyette... I'll never forget Tommy... use to also have to put up with what this guy would dish out. Simply put, Todd was a BULLY.
Now, looking at things thru the eyes of an adult with a child of my own, I try to teach my child everyday not to give in to a bully and not to become a bully. I can honestly say that it was sad for his parents to have to lose their son so early in life, but some of us really went thru hell because of bullies like him and Billy Joe East and Melvin Harris.
