Kim Fogleman (Davis)

Kim Fogleman (Davis)

Kimberly Dee Fogleman, 52, of Burlington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Hospice Home. Her spirit ascended heavenward at 4:00 pm.

Kimberly was born in High Point, NC and was the daughter of the late Alfred Doyle “Teeny” Fogleman and Martha “Cookie” Sawyer Fogleman, who survives.

She retired from Sawyer Exterminating after many years in office sales. She was a proud member of the North Carolina Pest Management Association and held a North Carolina Pest Control License. Kimberly was a longtime member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She loved cheering for the Carolina Panthers and Duke basketball. She was known for her delicious cooking and enjoyed sharing it with friends and neighbors. Kim truly had a gift of hospitality and welcomed everyone into her home. Her kind and generous spirit extended as well to any animal that didn’t have a home and she gladly welcomed it into hers. She was blessed with family who loved her, and she loved nothing more than to spoil her son and all his friends, being “Mama” to all. Kim really enjoyed a good party and her infectious laugh and sunny personality brightened every gathering she was at. We are blessed for having her in our lives.

Kimberly was a cheerleader at Williams High School and finished her senior year at Western Alamance High School as a varsity cheerleader. She also was selected to be a member of the choir. After high school she attended Greensboro Technical Community College while working at Rockola part time until she joined Sawyer Exterminating full time.

In addition to her mother of Burlington, she is survived by her son, Noah Brown of Charlotte; two sisters, Jennifer Dusenbury of Clayton and Tracy Pitts and her husband Rodney of Burlington; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will have a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the residence of Kimberly’s mother, Cookie Fogleman. A graveside service will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery at 3:30 pm on Saturday.

Animals were near and dear to Kimberly’s heart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal rescue of your choice.
