Hello fellow classmates of EHS Class of 1970.
After graduating, I attended Metro State College and worked in the Emergency Room at Swedish Medical Center. I graduates from Metro in 1976 and went to work for varios medical manufacturing companies, living in Colorado and visiting differnt states and countries. In 1984 I got married (first time), she had a son Mike and we were blessed to have 2 clidren Stephanie and David.
In 1991 the marrage ended and the kids moved with mom to Tennessee and I have been fortunate to stay active in their lives.
In 1998 I married my second wife, moved to Brighton and began as the Executive Director of a Homeless and Emergency Assistance Program, called Almost Home, Inc. My wife Amy and I adopted our daughter Teagan Autum Johnson-Moore in 1999. In 2003 that marriage ended (opps) and they moved to longmont, CO.
In 2003 I ran and was elected to Brighton's City Council and have served in that capastity for the past 7 years.
I am very fortunate that I have children who love me and who I am proud of and enjoy their accomplishments. I have good friends, a good job where we make a difference in people's lives and I enjoy my role on Brighton's City Council.
After 18 years as Executive Director for a Brighton based Nonprofit, Almost Home, Inc. I left and am now working TTEC in Greeley.
I hope all of u are doing well and simply cannot believe it has been almost 50 years!
Terry
I emjoyed my time at Englewood High and the fact that I went from K tothrough 12 in the Englewood system.
I made good friends although I have lost contact with many but still have a brother who lives in Englewood and I drove past EHS last Friday.
It was good times and had if I knew how often I would remeber those days, I might have tried harder as a student and as a friend.
