Not long after we graduated, Dave, Roy Lainson and I rented an apartment in an old converted house at 520 So. Grant. We had the back half of the second floor and three bedrooms in the attic. The rent was $90 a month.
Dave worked at Straight Johnsons, a hip pizza joint a few blocks away on Pearl St. I remember many hungry late nights waiting for Dave to come home from work because he’d often come in with a pizza under his arm.
I know that several of you were there at one time or another. We sure had some mighty fun times then and some mighty high times there as well. Then, after a while, we all went our separate ways.
Though you’ve been gone for a dozen years now, there will be a little smoke goin’ up tonight in your memory. Rest easy brother.

John,
Yes, I remember that apartment on Grant. Must have come by a few times. I remember Dave having that job at the pizza place on Pearl
What I am trying to remember about Dave is: Didn't he start his own restaurant somehwhere?. Did he move up to Oak Creek and start a restaurant there?
Do you know where I'm talking about, Oak Creek in Route county?
Thanks for the post on Dave. See you soon
How's Sidney?

Hi Lloyd,
Dave starting a restaurant somewhere seems somewhat familiar to me, but I don't remember any details. Sorry.
Cydney is doing well and says hello.
