Alan T. Scalabrin of North Kingstown passed away Sunday, Aug. 5 at Kent County Hospital. He was 65 years old. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Patricia M. (White) Scalabrin.

Born in Northvale, NJ to the late Bruno and Rita (Gavalas) Scalabrin. He lived most of his life in the Ocean State. Scalabrin worked in the financial field for several years and was a communicant of St. Bernard Church in Wickford. Additionally, he was a Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, Scalabrin leaves behind his son Craig A. Scalabrin of Kansas City, daughter Brenna L. Anderson of North Kingstown and three grandchildren (Haley Scalabrin, Megan and Kyra Anderson). He was the brother of the late Ernest Scalabrin.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. at Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
