Sean Frederick McAlister age 37, of Erie, died Sunday June 29, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Erie on April 18, 1971 a son of Fred and Autumn McAlister. He graduated from Central High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army in the 7th infantry Division and was on active duty in Desert Storm and Panama. Sean was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents. In addition to his parents Sean is survived by his wife of 7 years, Hilary McAlister; three sisters, Peg Lundstrom and her husband Marty, Leora Kramer and her husband George, and Jen Kader and her husband Chaz; two very close friends James and Jen Weckerly; his nieces and nephews, Axel and Autumn Lundstrom, Melissa and Amanda Lucente, Bill and Daphne Thompson and Jesse Weckerly. The Furry kids Nick, Polly, and Cody also survive. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 602 W 10th Street on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.. Brian Moran officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the Burton Funeral Home.
