Jim's brother Frank Banko, SVHS '56, got notified of Jim's death via a police officer knocking on his door on Mother's Day 2012.

 

A friend talked with Jim a short while before his passing; nothing seemed awry at the time.

 

Jim didn't have family in Ronkonkoma NY. As of 7/2013, there is no known obituary.
